So I basically reached home from the Freshmen Orientation Camp (FOC) few hours ago. I swear I'd regret for even a second thinking of paitao-ing the camp. I went along and everything turned out interesting and Im happy to say that its the bestest camp I've been to so far. Im impress with myself with making the right decision. Hahh!
I shall not discuss on every detail but I will elaborate on parts which I think are interesting. At least to me they are. I was down with a high fever on the first night. Its reducing, but its coming back again. -.- So first day was quite okayy. Was super mundane but like what the Group Leaders (GLs) said, we'll be quieter than our normal selfs. And on first day, "Blind Date" was one of our activities planned by the crews. Horus (my house I was appointed in the camp) were split into 4 groups. H1, H2, H3 and H4. Im in H4 which is Falcon. At times, Horus will be doing activities separately, but as for "Blind Date" we got it going as one. One big Horus.
So basically the GL got everyone to blindfold themselves. And one GL brought me somewhere to Kenneth and got us holding hands (basically got everyone holding hands) luckily they didnt make us hold hands like this couple. The GLs made the couple hold hands. Around a rubbish bin! HA HA HA! And they record it! My! Okayy so as I was saying.. We talked and talked. But most of the time Kenneth did alot of the talkings until I was wondering when was the "dating" session gonna end. And after my prayers were answered, the GLs got us to unblindfold.
I was very very shock to see Kenneth then. I wasnt expecting a cute, hot stuff to be such a talkative. WAA HA HA! I swear Kenneth was haaaaaaaaaaawt! I bet my savings he's the hottest guy you can find in the FOC as a freshie. Crews and GLs not included. So after I redeemed myself from an inobvious shock, the next thing that the GL said really shocked me more. The person who we blind-dated were supposed to be our dance partner. I could nearly faint cause I couldnt believe a girl like me would be dancing with a hot stuff like Kenneth. And I was expecting him to be "Oh noooo" kind'dof reaction. But instead he just nodded his head. Gaaaaawd he's awesome. AHA HA HA HA HA!
So.. When we got to the hall, we stand with our dance partner and all the four days we have to learn the steps together. It was nice dancing with him. I swear but dancing with the hottest stuff there wasnt as simple as I thought it would be. Everyone was eyeing on us. Even the girls on my team were envying me. And the GLs got us in the centre of attraction everytime our group had to demo. But I must say I enjoyed his guidance through the entire dance practices. And of course, not forgetting his gentlemenness. Everytime he spin me off, he'll add his own bow after that. Always greeting me before starting practices, like doesnt ignore my incoming approach. And always, never fails, complimented on our well done job every time practice ends. What a guy to have such crush on. NO NO NO (CHEERS ACCENTS). HA HA HA!
Thats one of the many many interesting parts. Which is why I cant point out every single details you see. One interesting part took a few para. HA HA! Next, its the haunted block as our night walk on our very first night. (Bet if Nisa was there, she'd be full of curse and swears on the fake ghost scaring her. HA HA HA HA HA!) I almost passed out the part where this small girl with long hair covering her face suddenly shouted. WAHLAAAAAO. I know passing out sounded exaggerating but I couldnt find the right words to describe how I felt at that point of time.
I cant judge and anyhow curse and swear the whole set up course some were REAL. Some were created just to make things more scarier. Some were REAL and exaggerated. The night walk through the block was damn cool. Like they say.. SCREW is cool. (INSIDE JOKE!) The last night was party night. It was the most exhausting night. Im not sure if Im allowed to talk about it. All I can say is we partied like mad. =DD
So Im home. But I left my voice at the campus I guess. HA HA! I swear my voice cracked. I called father using a friend's phone after the camp course mine batt was dead (whose wasnt? Four days! Its a miracle if your phone can stand the 4 days w/out charging..) and father was like who's this? -.-
Overall, all the GLs cried just now. They had fun spending the 4 days 3 nights camp with us. Really I swear I dont regret one bit coming. It was worth asking for the 4 days off. So I'll be working tomorrow. FULLSHIFT. O.o YAAAAAAAAAAY! -.- Oh btw, my group is the most happening group. I said that not because I felt that way. But others said so too. Wooooo! And they are organising an unofficial outing for ALL the FOC participant. From the crews to the GLs down to the freshies. Heard it was SENTOSA. Yessa. 500 plus people doing the mass dancing at Sentosa. Come see us there. Its confirmed on the 10th April. WOOOOO! This thursday will be H3 (Eagle) & H4 (Falcon) outing to East Coast Park I think. Im definitely going. IF. I could apply my off day.
